Toploader “She Said” single review
Toploader release their new single ‘She Said’ on 31st October 2011 from the new album Only Human.
If I mentioned the band ‘Toploader’ to anyone, many will have no idea who they are, while others may be thinking of ‘Dancing in the moonlight’ released way back in 2000. Now after a long break from music ‘Toploader’ are back with a new single ‘She Said’ taken from their new album ‘Only Human.’ This album and song may come as a surprise to a few people who have grown familiar to ‘Toploader’s’ style in the past and may well be mistaken for a different band altogether. They’ve matured and taken their music back to the roots of how this band first started, with a more rock and edgier sound. ‘She Said’ is the third single taken of the album and was voted for by fans. One thing this song does have in common with older songs is that’s its catchy. Joseph Washbourn vocals are outstanding, a man with a talented voice I could easily listen to all day. The lyrics have more quality and meaning and the sound is more guitar heavy. It’s a song I pressed repeat to, this is most defiantly a good change and I look forward to hearing the rest of the album.
