Jessie J reveals she was Bullied growing Up
Jessie J claims she was bullied at school and called an 'alien' after pills she took for a heart condition turned her skin green.
The singer was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat aged 11 and even suffered a stroke when she was younger.
Jessie told The Sun: ‘It might be kinda funny now but it was horrific at the time.’
The Brit Award winner was picked on after her skin changed colour from the medication she was taking and was also called Bugs Bunny as kids at her school in Romford, Essex, teased her about her teeth.
‘Kids at school nicknamed me Alien and they threw rocks at me,’ she added.
The singer, who has topped the charts with Price Tag, has also reportedly found it hard adjusting to her newfound fame.
A pal spilled the beans to The Daily Star this week saying that the star was suffering from panic attacks during gigs.
‘Jessie doesn’t know how she’s going to cope with all the new attention she’s getting. A few months ago, no one knew who she was and now she can’t go out without someone shouting at her or wanting a picture.
‘Jessie’s also very protective of her family and loved ones and doesn’t want them brought into the showbiz bubble. She’s also had poor health in the past and has suffered panic attacks on stage so she needs to keep as calm as possible.’
The singer recently admitted that she was bisexual and had a girl crush on Rihanna, who she called her ‘style icon’.
